About the Event
Dates: August 8-9
​
Age Groups: 18U Boys and Girls, 16U Boys and Girls, 14U Boys and Girls
​
Team Sizes: 7-10 athletes
​
Cost: ~$50-$100
​
USAWP: All athletes are required to have a minimum membership level of Silver in order to compete.
​
Hotel: Athletes/Families will be responsible for securing their own lodging.
​
Food: There will be a parent meeting to discuss setting up a "team zone" on the beach for both days where all of our athletes can grab snacks and lunch throughout the day.
​
Spectating: There will be no fee for parents to sit on the beach or float in the water to spectate. Highly recommended to bring a raft, kayak, or paddle board for ocean viewing. Otherwise a towel or foldable chair for shore viewing.
​
Competition: Each team will compete in 4 matches, 2 Saturday and 2 Sunday. A match is won by winning 3 games against an opponent. A game is won by reaching 5 points first. Games can start as early as 8am on Saturday and as late as 6pm on Sunday. Players are not permitted to leave early on Sunday until their team has completed their final game of the tournament.
The LONG BEACH BEACH WATER POLO CUP!
Our big trip this summer will be just up the coast to Long Beach for the 16th annual Beach Polo Cup! The event takes place in the Los Alamitos Bay and will follow Beach Water Polo rules! It's 4 v 4 with live subs in a best of 5 game series to determine the winner of a match. Please follow the links below for more information.
